I am less here than others. Practicing
the art of poise upon a slender ledge
that drops down days, resolving not to sing
a favorite nocturne, pruning back the edge
of dreams--all these are such consuming tasks.
And morning means that I must nurse a flame
so I can study what the daylight asks,
and research why
and memorize
my name.

I’ve just started blogging about my own manic break and hospitalization. It’s about recovery and treatment, but more importantly about discovery of a new post-religion faith where there is no hell, no original sin, you are God, and heaven on earth is real, radiant and right around the corner. A wild and triumphant ride.

I think this is wrong that you are not less than to others because God gives so many things to very person.

Maths tutor:

she doesn't say she IS less than others; she's saying she is less HERE than others.

(I know. She was my mother.)
